I can only imagine how complicated making cars for TS3 will be...maybe it's just me but i just can't seem to get excited for the TS3,just based from the screenshots alone, everything looks, well, sterile.I guess time will tell i suppose.

Well..

If EA loses the lawsuit for SecuROM...hopefully they won't force-feed us that stupid DRM in Sims 3...

Thats the messed up thing...they want you to buy the software, but more and more people are using Nulled versions from torrents because they dont want that Nazi-Like crap on their systems...

If this is so and they are options for user created vehicles I will definitely get TS3

If SecuROM is killed before Sims 3 comes out, AND we can still have skilled modders make custom content cars for it, I MIGHT actually consider getting it.  I knew cars were supposed to be included in the base game, but little else is known at this point.  Looks like Humble's team got them working, at least.  Still, my interest level in TS3 is slightly above nil.  I love having my real, detailed cars (like the late-model GT-500 Wink ) and I have invested a great deal of time into my TS2 sims.  Plus, with the whole "global aging" thing Darth Doofus...  er... Rod Humble is all proud of does not look too good for story-tellers like me, is what I'm thinking.  Of course, if the option to create user-created vehicle exists, then my intrest level would rise considerably...  But SecuROM would still certainly be a deal-breaker.

I think the Sims 3 will be nice! I don't create cars, and I see it's very hard, but I only create wallpaper for TS2 and homes for it. But I do like detailed Lexus's and Audi's. I hope people can create cars for the TS3.

There was an expansion that allowed Sims to go out to bars and clubs, which is something that most people can do anyway, but in the world of commercialism and gobbledegook it also became possible to turn into a vampire. The Sims Seasons adds weather and new activities and interactions for each season, so Sims can now become sunburnt or struck by lightning, which seems to burn off all of their clothes but doesn’t quite kill them. There are also festivals along with other season-specific happenings. And then there’s the alien abductions because, hey, the weather isn’t weird enough.
